Testimonials from Past and Current Clients
"I have always been an overweight person and for as long as I remember I have been addicted to fast-food. Growing up and into adulthood I used fast-food as a reward for myself. The problem became that I started over-rewarding myself. I had become what the fast-food industry calls a 'heavy user'. Most times, I would eat fast-food over ten times a week! Worst, I would eat too much of it. A regular trip to the local burger chain would see me order a 'value' meal and two or three extra entree menu items. I easily spent ten dollars or more per trip. Finally, I realized something needed to change.
Janet Berg has helped me on so many levels with this problem. Her comforting demeanor and professional attitude put me at ease. Hypnotherapy can be an intimidating experience because of how the media portrays the experience. I only have fabulous things to say about Janet and the services she offers. I remained relaxed the entire time, it was not scary, and the best part is that it works!
Since my appointments I have not eaten fast-food one time. Even more important, I have NOT had the DESIRE to eat fast- food! I do not even miss it one bit. Due to this lifestyle change, I have already lost 13 pounds in under two weeks time. It is incredible to me that I couldn't go one day without craving fast-food and now I could care less about eating it. Hypnotherapy (and EFT) works and Janet has been a blessing to my life. Because of her, I can now successfully lose weight in a healthy manner and enjoy my life more. I wholeheartedly recommend Janet Berg and her services to anyone who is battling an addiction."

"The time came that I simply had to deal with my overweight situation. I was taking all the blood pressure medicine I could handle and my BP was still too high. The medications caused dizzy spells and unsteadiness. Plus, my knees and back were paying the price of the extra load. My cardiologist recommended a diet (South Beach or Weight Watchers). I didn't want to commit the time to meetings, so I chose the South Beach Plan.
I've tried dieting before with mixed results. This time, I decided to try hypnotherapy with Janet Berg to improve my chances of success. After two pleasant office sessions, she gave me a tape for reinforcement at home. I was never unconscious and I remember everything that happened. If I wanted to, I could have stopped the sessions at any time. I chose to modify some of the imagery that Janet used to suit myself better. She said that was okay. Janet helped me stay focused on my weight goal. She also helped me cause a little 'caution light' to come on when the triggers for dietary excesses and bad habits were tripped. I started dieting in November, 2006. I did just fine through the holidays.
I met my goal (35 lbs.) in three months. Things were going so well that I kept going. From 230 lbs. in November to 170 lbs. in mid-May, 2007--six months, sixty pounds! I dropped from waist size 42 to 36. I'm still taking medications for blood pressure, but less. And my BP is normal. My knees and back are better, too. I give partial credit for my success to Janet. I provided the commitment and the plan. She helped me to stay focused.
Janet Berg is a pleasure to meet. She's non-judgemental and her exuberant spirit will lift anyone's. With a doctor's order, my pre-tax 'flexi-spending' program would have paid for her services (which aren't all that expensive), but I had already used up my year's allowance."

"Finally in ten years I can honestly say that I AM A NON-SMOKER! I used to be the typical smoker that was always waiting for the opportune time to quit smoking. I was in search of that point in my life that was maybe less stressful or when I was done with college or maybe after I started a family. But the excuses kept coming to continue smoking and even after several attempts to quit I continued to smoke. I finally found that the perfect time to stop was when I couldn't smoke worry-free anymore. With each cigarette came this guilt that I was too weak-willed to stop, the worry about the health risks, and financial burden caused by my bad habit. I knew I needed to quit. Even more importantly, I knew I needed help to beat this addiction.
My help came from Janet Berg in the form of Hypnotherapy. Janet Berg has truly changed my outlook on my health, wellness, and overall image of life and healing. It's been two years since my wonderful experience with Janet's sessions and I'm still enjoying the freedom from the smoking habit. Janet had helped me uncover the strength buried within myself to win against my destructive behavior. I now have the freedom from smelling of smoke, from wasting money on cigarettes, and the best part is that I have freedom from even craving cigarettes anymore.
Janet not only provided me with this amazing transformation but did so in a very comfortable and welcoming environment. The session began with an hour long open discussion about the triggers and my frustrations with the smoking habit. Because of this she was able to customize the hypnosis to my needs for the best results. And I couldn't have had better results! I am constantly recommending Janet Berg and her services to my friends and family or anyone else battling the smoking habit. I always want to share my experience so if anyone reading this has any questions please feel free to e-mail me and I will be happy to describe my experience in more detail. It is an amazing sense of accomplishment knowing that I have overcome an addiction once and for all that had once overcome me."
